Our client, Adatif, is a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME), conveniently located in Downtown, Montreal is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team. This mandate is designed as a three-day work week, with the possibility of a hybrid arrangement to suit your lifestyle. The position is long-term, allowing you to maintain a steady professional engagement while enjoying flexibility and personal time.
What you'll do
Process bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Conduct monthly reviews of financials for foreign subsidiaries.
Analyze and streamline group intercompany transactions, optimizing cross-border tax strategies.
Manage year-end closings and compile financial statements for both domestic and international corporate tax filings.
Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals on annual audits and filings.
Maintain shareholder accounts and advise on appropriate tax treatments.
Review shareholder personal income tax returns.
What you need to succeed
CPA with over 20 years of experience in comparable roles
Highly autonomous leadership style, collaborative team player with a strong work ethic and a solutions-driven approach
Basic Proficiency in Sage 50
Extensive experience in accounting for corporate head offices and their foreign subsidiaries
Bilingualism in French and English is essential
